Protecting the environment.
Volunteers from the UK’s leading developer of specialised leak detection and environmental protection systems, Andel, have returned to the UK following a successful mission to deliver five tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Polish Red Cross in Krakow in support of Ukraine.
Seven Andel volunteers set off from the UK in four Luton vans on 6 April 2022, meeting up with Olga Surovtseva, Ukrainian manager of Dutch-based Andel BV, along with ESEP, one of Andel's Dutch distributors on the humanitarian mission. The four Luton vans were joined in the Netherlands by a fifth van from ESEP, forming a convoy of five vans carrying five tonnes of aid including: dried and tinned foods, hygiene supplies, baby care incl. clothes, milk blankets etc.
Mark Harris, Commercial Director, commented, "Though our mission was to deliver aid to refugees who had escaped to Poland, we have learned that the aid we delivered was taken straight to Bucha in Ukraine, where the situation is dire and the supplies couldn't be more needed. We would like to thank Andel Polska, our Polish distributor, for their support and hospitality while we were in Poland and also thank you to everyone for their kind donations, support and encouragement.
We will continue to support Ukraine and welcome donations to fund future aid missions and support, anyone who wishes to donate can contact Shelley Stringer, our HR/Admin Director on +44 (0)1484 845 000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org."
