Andel’s robust Floodline Multi-8 is a unique, multi-zone, water-sensitive cable that allows up to eight separately reporting leak detection zones from a single cable. Floodline Multi-8 sensing cable detects the presence of water and conductive liquids at any point along its entire length.

Floodline Multi-8 provides consistent performance and can be wet and dried any number of times. Easy to install and maintain, the tough, lightweight, flexible and quick-drying cable can be removed, cleaned and returned to use. 

The cable is available in a variety of lengths to provide as much coverage as required and typically between 5 metres and 15 metres. 

Floodline Multi-8 is designed for a number of applications in sensitive environments including sub-floors, above suspended ceilings, roofs, pipes, around the base of equipment and tanks, drip trays and storage areas. 

Floodline Multi-8 can connect to any Floodline zonal control panel or unit either directly or via leader cable.

Floodline Multi-4 Sensor Cable +-

Floodline Multi-4 liquid detection cable is suited to highly sensitive areas where an alarm to the ingress of the smallest amount of liquid is required. A fine multi-filament cellulosic outer covering draws liquid into detection cores allowing the system to react to the smallest amount of water, conductive liquid and condensation. Multi-4 uses a special colour change system providing visual and permanent evidence of where the cable has been wet even after it has dried.

One length of Floodline Multi-4 provides up to four separately reporting zones. The zone changeover points along the cable are provided by Floodline 4-Zone Junction Boxes. The cable is available in any length to provide as much coverage as required, typically between 5 metres and 15 metres.

The cable can be attached to the underside of pipes, inside or outside lagging, laid in drip trays and catchment troughs and fixed to soffits and ceilings. Multi-4 is activated by contact with any conductive liquid anywhere along its entire length. The cable can be wet and dried any number of times and returned to use.

Multi-4 can connect to any Floodline zonal control panel or unit either directly or via leader cable.

Floodline Ranger Distance Measurement Sensor Cable and Control Unit for Long Line Leak Detection +-
  • Long Line water and conductive liquid detection sensor cable and control unit

  • Can be a stand-alone system or can function as a zone as part of a larger Floodline installation for continuous leak detection

Floodline Ranger is a Long Line system with a control unit and  leak detection cable for up to 1500 metres. Ranger can operate as a stand-alone system or can be integrated into a larger Floodline installation, connecting to any Floodline control panel and functioning as a zone. The system is ideal for plant rooms, warehouses, libraries, museums and any longer areas that require water leak detection. The system provides more choice for those customers who require a Long Line system with the advantage of also working within a network of multiple zones and a range of other sensors in any size of installation.

The control unit can be attached to a standard DIN rail and can also be housed in an existing instrument cabinet with available rail space.

In the event of a leak detection, the control panel triggers an audio visual alarm as well as triggering onward communication to BMS or similar. Illuminated LEDs on the control panel provide visual indication for power, leak detection, system status alerts and communications. The leak detection LED indicator on the control panel shows the distance to the leak.  

The high-visibity yellow, red and black striped sensor cable detects the presence of water at any point along its length. The cable is available in a range of pre-terminated lengths with locking connectors to join lengths together. Conductive-polymer technology and fluoro-polymer construction make the sensor cable mechanically strong and highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion. 

The cable dries and resets within 15 minutes after removal from standing water and can be wiped with a clean, damp cloth. 

Floodline Single-Zone Detection Tape +-

Andel’s Floodline Single-Zone Detection Tape is designed for high-sensitivity applications where a cost-effective system is required. The tape’s polyester woven construction is extremely robust and resistant to corrosion and abrasion.

Simple to install, the cable detects the presence of water and conductive liquids at any point along its entire length and can be washed, dried and re-used. Single-Zone Detection Tape is available in a variety of lengths to provide as much coverage as required and typically between 5 metres and 15 metres.

The Floodline Point Sensor is a compact and robust unit suitable for vertical or horizontal mounting. The alarm is activated when water or any conductive liquid comes into contact with the probes. 

Supplied with a stainless steel Floodline Guard Plate to provide heavy-duty physical protection and for fixing and easy adjustment, Floodline Point Sensor is ideal for areas where detection cable could be damaged or where some damp, minor wetting and spillage is expected and not a concern.

Point Sensors can connect in any number and combination with other Floodline sensors and Floodline control panels. Suited to applications such a plant rooms, solid floor areas either free standing or fixed, basements and tunnels, located at the base of walls or apparatus, tanks and sumps.

Point Sensor is a multiple re-use product and can be instantly returned to use after a water leak is cleared. Constructed with a high density plastic body, stainless steel and nickel-plated brass probes and housed in Floodline stainless steel Guard Plate with an encapsulation option for immersion proofing.

Floodline Flexi-Pad Sensor +-

Floodline Flexi-Pad Sensor is flat flexible sheet, specifically designed for liquid leak detection in narrow voids and pipework around valves and joints where leaks are more likely to occur. Flexi-Pad can be used singly, or in groups with a number of sensors connected together to form a zone.

A removable fabric cover assists absorption and protects the sensing surfaces. Flexi-Pad Sensors can be wet and dried any number of times provided the sensor element is not contaminated. After wetting, the cover can be replaced with a spare or removed for drying. The units are constructed with a tough, flexible plastic sheet with bonded carbon-loaded detection tracks and a removable fabric cover.

Typical applications include wrapping around pipes and placed in drip trays under plant or equipment. The Flexi-Pad activates when in contact with any conductive liquid and can be returned to use when dried.

Flexi-Pad can be laid loose, pinned or glued at corners or tie-wrapped loosely around pipework.

Floodline Fan Coil Sensor +-
  • Self-contained single-zone water leak detection sensor

Floodline Fan Coil is a robust single-zone water leak detection system that can be free standing on a floor or in a drip tray, or alternatively horizontally or vertically mounted at the base of equipment or a wall. Fan Coil is typically for air conditioning units and humid environments where water can collect.

The unit can connect to leak detection cable or tape and other Floodline point sensors. Fan Coil can be stand-alone or can connect to other Floodline control panels as a part of a larger Floodline leak detection installation. The control unit is housed in a robust stainless steel Floodline Guard Plate for protection and ease of mounting. 

The unit is equipped with a sensitivity control and a continuous built-in water and conductive liquid leak detection sensor as well as an auxilliary input for other sensors. Flashing LEDs indicate leak detection and system status alarms and continue to display until the problem is corrected and reset. An illuminated LED indicates power supply.

Floodline Tundish Overflow Sensor +-
  • Specifically designed for cisterns and tank overflows

Floodline Tundish Overflow Sensor is specifically designed for toilet cisterns and and tanks to provide an immediate and automatic warning of an overflow of water. The sensor can be used singly or in multiples, connected to any of the Floodline alarm panels.

Each sensor can be allocated its own zone, or multiple sensors can be installed in groups and attached together to form a single zone. Floodline Tundish Overflow Sensor can be incorporated into larger, more complex leak detection installations and can be used with any other Floodline leak detection device.

Tundish Overflow Sensor is activated by any conductive liquid and the sensor can be wet and dried any number of times and returned to use. Any soluble marking can be removed by cleaning in warm water.

The sensor construction is a tough plastic bowl and connection box with stainless steel sensor probes and connects to any standard 22mm overflow pipe exiting the cistern ot tank.

Floodline Pipe-In-Pipe Sensor +-
  • A sensor for water leak detection in double containment pipes and tanks
  • Short stainless steel probes extend into the double containment cavity
  • Water entering the cavity touches the probes and activates the sensor alarm

The Floodline Pipe-in-Pipe Sensor is designed for liquid leak detection in double containment cavities in pipes and tanks. The principle is the same as a point sensor but with a modified design for fitting into sockets provided at strategic points along an outer pipe or outer tank.

Short stainless steel probes extend into the cavity. A sensor alarm is activated when any conductive liquid, such as water or oil, contacts the stainless steel probes. 

The Floodline Pipe-in-Pipe Sensor is a multiple re-use product with instant return to use following a leak detection.

The body is constructed from high-density plastic with fully encapsulated stainless steel probes.
