Following Andel's opening of a full R&D division within the prestigious Nexus building in the University of Leeds campus, Deva Vadibeler PhD has joined Andel's R&D team on a 24-month project.

Deva will be working as an associate in the innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) project with leading academics from the University of Leeds and the Andel team on soil and sediment hydrology to support a sustainable flood defence design. Deva has completed a doctoral study in Isotope Hydrology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria.

For the next 24-months, Deva will develop ground surveying technologies and data processing tools to allow bespoke installation of Andel's environmentally-friendly FloodWall, a modular perimeter flood defence system.
