The Andel-PPL Oilstar TankGuard overfill and bund leak alarms are for use in all tanks containing oil, fuel oil, DERV and any other non-explosion hazard liquids.

The Tank Guard monitors tank filling operations by warning when the maximum level is reached.  The maximum level is typically 95% of the maximum volume of the tank.  The sensor(s) can also be lowered into the dry cavity or interstitial space of “self-bunded” or “double-skinned” tanks.  The operator has no way of seeing into this space so the only way of knowing if the inner tank is leaking or has failed is through an automatic monitoring system such as Tank Guard.

The Tank Guard can be configured as 1 or 2 channels and in special cases 3 channels. 

On site operation could be any of the following configurations:

1 Channel:
Overfill only OR bund leak alarm only

2 Channel:
Overfill alarm AND bund leak alarm

3 Channel:
Any combination of above two options.

The Tank Guard unit is easy to install and operate.  Built in a high-impact, IP66 rated box it can be mounted internally or externally to suit.
